RIIHAN307E Course - Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane (Less Than 10 Metre/Tonnes Capacity)
RIIHAN307E training course is designed to teach candidates to safely operate truck-mounted vehicle loading cranes that don't fit the requirements for High-Risk Work Licensing due to their capacity. A current Licence to perform dogging is not a prerequisite for this course.
About the RIIHAN307E Course
The above unit is nationally recognised and can only be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that complies with governing standards of quality control and quality training and assessment. This course qualifies the applicant to become a vehicle loading crane operator (or Hiab operator/Hiab driver), which capacity does not exceed 10 m/t.
The duration of this course is 1 day but can exceed depending on participants. Training is conducted at our training yard but we can also arrange training and assessment at the client's premises where all the required conditions are met.
We will provide free Wi-Fi, sunscreen, and gloves to use while you are enrolled in a course with us. We also have a filtered water bubbler onsite to keep you hydrated. There are also multiple local cafes in the area.
Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for the Nationally recognised unit RIIHAN307E Operate a vehicle loading crane (less than 10 metre tonnes capacity).
Who is eligible?
Participants must be able to meet the following requirements to enrol in a RIIHAN307E course with Training Combined:

Be at least 18 years of age

Satisfactorily complete our English and mathematics assessment (LLN)

Be able to provide photo identification (100 points of ID) with current NSW address

Be able to obtain a USI
-
Be physically fit and not have any physical conditions that would prevent them from moving around and carrying out tasks

Payments
Fees and Charges
This course attracts a fee of $700.00 per participant and is GST exempt. These fees cover all, training, assessment, use of machinery/equipment, stationary (books, pens, use of calculator and resources) and most importantly, the amazing experience.
A $50.00 deposit is required when making a booking as spaces are limited. Corporate rates and group pricing is also available.
Deposits are fully refundable if your booking is canceled within more than 7 days’ notice. If the booking is canceled within seven or less days’ notice, then only 50% of the booking fee is refundable.
The full course fee must be paid prior to the final assessment and prior to issuing any official course outcome documentation (Statement of Attainment, Notice of Satisfactory Assessment/Assessment Summary). In the event that we have not received the full payment, we will withhold the documentation which will be sent via Registered Mail upon receipt of payment, at no additional cost. Upon completion of the course, the participant will be issued a statement of attainment in the above unit. Participants who do not satisfactorily complete the course in the first attempt have 90 days from the course completion to undertake a second and third attempt at the assessment at an additional cost (to be determined on a case-by-case basis). Participants who wait longer than 90 days to undertake the second attempt will need to reenrol into the course and pay the full course fee.
